TIME

I heard this quote the other day and I'm not sure who exactly it belongs to...maybe John Maxwell? Anyway, it's a great quote and one that I think can provoke some good discussion, so let's have at it. Here it is:

"We have time to do the things we want to do. We don't have time to do the things we pretend to want to do."

Whadathink?

To me it means that what is important to each person, they will find the time to do it. Sometimes people talk about all they want to accomplish, or make excuses just so they seem like they have loftier goals in life than they actually have. They are afraid that they may seem to simplified, or their life isn't fulfilled enough if they aren't setting sights on so much more than they actually care to do.

...the games we play...but in the grand scheme of things, what for or who for?

for ourselves and others. Some for God, thinking he only hears what we say out loud, not realizing he knows our every thought and what is in our hearts
