The Answer

The question of the day, is not whether Barack Obama has the experience and knowledge necessary to lead America to happy and carefree living once again. Or whether he has the keys to unlock the global warming challenge that a polar bear faces each summer. Nor is the answer found in the slimey, rollercoaster stock market. Nor the integrity, or lack thereof, of Wall Street...or Congress, for that matter.

No, the question of the day is whether or not The Answer is the answer for the Pistons. Can Allen Iverson infuse whatever he infuses, into a team that routinely gets into the playoffs, but yet has fallen short the past few Junes? Will The Answer help Piston fans to forget Mr. Big Shot? Will Iverson's tatted up body endure another punishing regular season on the hardcourt and still have something left in his tank for the playoffs? Time will tell. This could be a major coup.

I believe overall that it's a good trade for Detroit and I believe Dumars did a great job reaching across the aisle to deal Chauncy to a Western Conference team. Now that's bipartisanship. How about running Mr. Dumars against Senator Debbie Stabenow? Just a thought...

One parting thought, the Pistons will get Dyess back from the Nuggets, Amir will return to the bench will Kwame and Dyess will platoon at 5.

Maybe I might just pull for the Pistons. You have the answer but is it to the right question.

Joe knows what he is doing. I believe this is both short term and a long term move by freeing cap space.
